Full Hard Reset For Android Samsung Galaxy S2

Full Hard Reset For Android Samsung Galaxy S2

Recently my smartphone started to act up a bit from time to time and his condition was not very stable - basically, it was expressed by periodic hang in some applications.

Today I have for the first 2 years decided a full reset of your phone Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT I9100), which runs on Android 4.1.2 operating system and decided to write a quick note about how I did it.

Not even imagining how it all happens - first I sought the help of a search engine Yandex and spent about 20 minutes on different sites in search of any information that would help me do a full factory reset (hard reset) and the result was not long in coming .

In general, omitting minor details, for that would make a full reset for android, as it turned out, enough with the phone off for 10 seconds, hold the volume up button, the center button below the display and the on-off button of the phone. In this state, you will see a menu uninformative Android system recovery <3e>, and in the background you will see the disassembled robot with a huge exclamation point - if everything is so, then came to the right place.

By the way, I recently took another video on how to do a factory reset android - maybe someone will be easier to navigate in the action, repeating everything for me. But those who are confident in their abilities, it is enough to read this post until the end.

At the top of the screen you will see a message in English «Volume up / dawn to move highlight; power button to select »

Now, using the volume buttons, choose from a small menu line that says wipe data / factory reset and press the power button on the phone.

Further, from a huge list No selectors choose a single stand-out position Yes «Yes - delete all user data» and again press the power button on the phone.

Hard Reset for Android Posle short reset before you reappear very first menu, but now we only have to reboot the phone. To do this, choose the very first option «reboot system now» and confirm the action button switch on the phone.

After the factory reset android I went further and decided to completely reformat your USB-drive. First save all that was needed (contacts, photos, music and video), I went to settings and format all the information available with the USB-drive.

How to do a full reset for android:

Turn off your phone
Pinch the 3 buttons (volume up + middle + button below the display switching)
Selects a line that says wipe data / factory reset
Push the power button on your phone
Choosing «Yes - delete all user data»
Press again the power button on your phone
Now select «reboot system now»
Again, press the power button on the phone.

How to format a USB-drive:

Go to the settings of the phone "Settings"
In the block "Device" select "Memory"
Squandered the menu until the very end
Click on "Format USB-drive"
Agree with the cleaning of internal memory, and again click "Format USB-drive"

That's all, as it turned out to do a full reset (hard reset) for android is not so difficult - now only remains to upload all the necessary applications and widgets from Play store and enjoy the purity of the settings.
